2021 Peace Play Teacher Training
*Outdoor & online training weekend*
Help bring more PEACE to the lives of children ...
We are experiencing stressful times, and our children are not immune to that stress. Changes to school life, home life and social life can have tremendous impacts on our children and the level of stress they are dealing with on a daily basis.
There has never been a better time to become a Children's Yoga Teacher.
By becoming a Certified Children's Yoga Teacher you are equipping yourself with the tools needed to teach children breathwork, meditation, asana, gratitude, philosophy and so much more. These are the very tools they will need to help deal with stress and anxiety, find inner peace, and share that much needed peace with the World.
In addition to dealing with stress, yoga helps children to build both strength and flexibility. It helps them to understand, appreciate and accept their bodies. They learn how to use their breath to relax. They learn how to reign in their thoughts and focus only on what they want, when they want. YOU can help bring more peace into the lives of children, and into to the world by becoming a Children's Yoga Teacher.
THE WORLD NEEDS YOU NOW.

"The Peace Play Children's Yoga Certification was amazing! Within one week of finishing I already have requests to teach classes and with the method of instruction and incredibly fun training, I feel equipped to jump right in and start teaching! In addition, there has been continued support and resources available so I feel thoroughly equipped. Thank you!"

"Having completed Pam's Peace Play children's yoga teaching certification, all I can say is WOW! From the moment we walked into the room, Pam's animated demeanor rubbed off on all of us, and 10 adults quickly turned from that to being 10 children! The program is organized, well-thought out, and covers every aspect of running a class, choosing the music, adding books, and how to find places to actually teach. Pam taught us all that almost everything can be "yoga" when dealing with kids; down dogs bark, frogs hop, and trees jump! If you love working with children, this is a great addition to any of your teaching tools, whether you bring it into a schoolroom, your own child's life, or an actual yoga class. All of us in my group have been working with children for many years, and I think it is safe to say that each and every one of us came out a better teacher." ~ Lauren G.
"The Peace Play Children's Yoga Teacher training was life changing. The opportunity to learn from Pamela Nixon, not just yoga but philosophy, truly illustrates peace in action. I was honored to participate and I am confident that the children I serve, who have experienced severe trauma, will benefit richly from all I have learned." ~ Nicole E.
Pamela has such enthusiasm for teaching kids yoga. Her ideas for fun, age appropriate games, are endless! She has greatly helped me expand my knowledge in children's yoga." ~ Rachael W.
"A good time was had by all at Pam's workshop. Hours flew by as we played yoga games accompanied by great music. She joyfully taught us how to theme a class and how to structure different types of classes. She demonstrated how to help children explore yoga in a positive and meaningful way. I returned to my own class of preschoolers eager to present yoga to them in new and exciting ways. The children responded enthusiastically as I put what I learned in Pam's workshop into practice. I look forward to more classes under Pam's creative guidance."
~ Sherry F.
Pam's class taught everything from language to actual asana moves to teach children while at the same time keeping their attention. She taught the class pretending that we were the children. We then took turns being the "teacher" in the room. It was a lot fun. Since then I have had the chance to teach a children's yoga class and was able to incorporate all the techniques from class. Pam's class exceeded my expectations and I look forward to teaching my own children yoga very soon." ~ Kristina D.
